1. Containers and net pots
2. Marking pen to trace the net pot diameter
3. Drill and bit
4. box cutter - to cut between the holes

The Net Pots

Decide whether you want 2 or 3 inch net pots for your plantings. Gather the marking pen and the cutter for the next step.

Marking the Cut

1. Place the net pot upside down for marking the cut.
2. Trace the outline of the net pot with the marking pen.
3. Be sure the cut is made well inside the marked line
   so that the lip of the pot has material to hang on.
4. With the marking pen, make a series of small dots
   around and inside the marked circle (these will be
   the drill points.

Drilling the Holes

1. Using a small drill bit
2. On the small dots you placed for drilling
3. Drill holes around and inside the entire circle
4. It is best to drill on top of a piece of wood

Cutting the Opening

1. With all the holes drilled
2. Use the box cutter to cut between the holes
3. When all are cut remove the center part
4. Success! You now have a hole for the net pot.

Ready for the Net Pot

Repeat this process until you have all openings ready for placement of all your net pots into the hydroponic containers for planting.
